I LIKE CHOCOLATE! I like it a lot. You might say that I am a Chocoholic,
maybe I am. But I know that I am
not the only one. There are
thousands of us about and the fact that you are reading this makes it at
least EVENS that YOU are one too! So this is the
story of my search for the very best chocolates and my desire to start a
business that would allow YOU to enjoy and indulge in my passion too! The results of this are http://www.chocobong.com
but more of that later. But not only do I like eating
chocolate, I also like giving it for presents. There are several reasons for this, here are some: l
I am not very good at
presents and chocolate is a bit of a no brainer l
Although I like a good glass
of wine, I am no wine connoisseur so I am self conscious about making the
wrong choice for a gift l
Flowers die and I would much
rather see them stay in the ground l
I really don't like shopping
and do not have the time to spend ages looking for things l
Lots of the sort of stuff
sold in 'gift shops' are just plain tacky l
Most importantly, almost
everyone likes getting a box of chocolates The problem is though, that
when I go and see a friend and give them a box of chocolates like at Xmas or
their birthday for example, I often find that they already have boxes of
Celebrations, Heroes, Quality Street, Roses, After Eight and even Guylian
Shells. You know, all the normal
boxes. My gift used to get lost
amongst them all and I was aware that it just was not special. So I upped the ante, I
started buying Belgian Chocolates.
But still it wasn't that special. I was not the only one and it rather reminded me of the
scene in Blazing Saddles where the baddie gives Marlene von Stropp a rose and
she says "Oh, a rose, how ordinary". Then one day on a trip to
Brugge I found Dumon Chocolates. This 'discovery' was
actually part of a 'scientific' effort to find the best chocolate and at that
point I reliased that I had reached Nirvana. Here was a range of chocolates that was so clearly better,
that even the other 'best' makes did not stand muster. It was at that point that I had the
idea of Chocobong. It was my
opportunity to offer to you a
chocolate that not only you will enjoy the smell and taste of but that you
can give as a gift secure in the knowledge that yours will be the only
present of 'Dumon Chocolates' and that your wife, girlfriend, relative or
friend will realise that your gift is
different, better and more enjoyable than the others and as a result they
will keep on thinking about it and talking about it way after the last one is
eaten. You may ask, "what if
you sell lots of your chocolates and they become common". Well that is a good question and I do
hope that this business becomes successful, but I can tell you this for a
guarantee (and this is not the only one, but more of that later): Dumon's production is low. They have
one Ôkitchen' where they work from.
They supply a handful of shops in Brugge, a handful outside of Brugge
and this website. If I was running
a shop, I couldn't sell Dumon because I would be worried about running out of
stock and having to pay rent (at London prices!), rates and shop staff when I
exceeded Dumon's capacity. But
as a website, if we run out of stock, I post a notice letting people know
when the next shipment is due and get on with other things. There is absolutely no chance
of Dumon's chocolates becoming so popular and well known that your box will
be competing with other identical boxes for your friends attention. So that is how I got round to
starting my Belgian Chocolate website.
I know that we MUST be doing something right from the number of
satisfied customers writing Testimonials to us. You can view these for yourself here. But my mission is greater than
that. I REALLY want to encourage as many people as possible to try
out these chocolate because I am sure that you REALLY do not know what you are missing. On top of that, compared to other
premium brands, they are not that expensive. With a price per kilo under half of some of the brands
that I have found on the internet you are looking at a first class product
that is a WONDERFUL gift for YOU to give to someone YOU love and
care for, or even YOURSELF! You may be saying Òyou have
gotta be kidding me, chocolates chocolateÓ but no, I am not. Not all things contained within the
same generic title are equal.
Would you compare a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari to a Proton or a Kia and
say that they are Ôjust carsÕ?
No, you wouldnÕt and the same applies here. So, go on, treat your loved
ones or yourself and buy a box.
Try out a small one if you are still skeptical or consider that the
larger boxes give better value for money because of the savings made by the
included cost of shipping. You
have nothing to lose (see below) but everything to gain. So click on: And start exploring the world
of fresh, hand made REAL Belgian Chocolate from Dumon. Now for the other
Guarantee: If you find that my
story above does not ring true for you, then let us know that you are not
happy with your purchase and we will provide a full refund without
quibble. That is how certain we
are that you will LOVE receiving and giving Dumon
Chocolates. |
